Senior HR Generalist

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior HR Generalist to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. This role is ideal for a seasoned HR professional with 7-10 years of experience who thrives in a dynamic environment and is adept at managing both strategic and operational HR functions. The Senior HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting business objectives, managing HR policies, and collaborating with internal teams and external platforms to enhance HR processes. Duties and Responsibilities: HR & Employee Relations * Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices. * Handle employee relations matters, conducting investigations and resolving conflicts while ensuring compliance with labor laws. * Support leadership in developing strategies that align with business goals. Recruitment & Talent Management * Partner with recruiter to oversee and ensure a seamless hiring experience. * Implement and oversee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth employee experience. Compensation & Benefits * Assist in compensation planning, including salary benchmarking and job evaluations. * Manage benefits administration and work with external vendors to ensure competitive offerings. * Collaborate with payroll providers and HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP, BambooHR) to maintain accurate employee records. HR Systems & Compliance * Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including CA-specific employment regulations. * Maintain and update employee records using HRIS and external HR platforms. * Partner with external platforms to enhance HR functions, including performance management, learning & development, and payroll processing. Learning & Development * Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs using internal and external learning platforms. * Work with third-party vendors to implement leadership training and employee development initiatives. HR Metrics & Reporting * Utilize HR analytics to track workforce trends, employee engagement, and retention metrics. * Provide reports and insights to leadership, leveraging external HR analytics platforms when needed. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment. * Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices, particularly in California. * Experience working with external HR platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Workday, ADP, Greenhouse, BambooHR). * Proven ability to manage multiple HR functions, including employee relations, benefits, and compliance. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments. * HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred but not required.
