What You'll Do

 

The Sr. HR Generalist will partner with the People & Culture Manager to ensure that organization-wide talent management and performance initiatives are implemented and successfully achieved. This role will contribute to the daily HR functions of the department and organization, aimed at improving the employee experience and PAE culture.

 

Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, recommend best practices, review and update policies as needed Collaborate with HR leaders, Department Heads, and company Leadership to implement projects, objectives, and success criteria. Maintain effective communication and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle Assist in the cultivation of an employee-oriented company culture that encourages high retention and employee engagement Manage and maintain performance evaluation processes to enhance employee growth and productivity Assess development needs based on performance reviews, engagement surveys, and employee feedback, conduct employee development conversations with Supervisors Develop and deliver Performance Improvement Plans and termination meetings with Supervisors as needed Develop comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate engagement initiatives to management and staff Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and management team to create an environment of partnership, confidence, and trust Utilize HR metrics and analytics to inform decisions, make recommendations and improve processes Apply knowledge of industry trends and invest in continuing education by attending conferences, training, and reading industry material Perform special projects and initiatives as assigned

 

What You Bring

 

Bachelor’s degree or 5-7 years equivalent experience Minimum 4-6 years of experience in Human Resources Strong knowledge of federal and state employment regulations, and best practices HR Professional (Ex. SHRM, HRCI, PHR) or coaching and development certification is a plus Willingness to travel Proficiency in extracting, analyzing and interpreting data Strong business acumen Ability to quickly adjust to changing priorities and work environments Strong verbal and written communication Action oriented, results focused High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information Global and cultural awareness Project & process management Microsoft Office Suite, advanced Excel skills preferred Location: This is a hybrid position located in Portland, Oregon

 

What We Offer 

 

Hiring Base Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 annual  This position is eligible for time and a half overtime pay 

 

The base salary is one component of PAE’s competitive compensation package for employees. We take into consideration a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, internal equity and geographic location in determining exact salary offered. At PAE, roles are eligible for additional rewards, including salary increases and annual bonuses based on individual performance. The above range represents PAE's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
