Senior HR Generalist - Wausau, WI & Saskatoon, SK

Join us as our new Senior HR Generalist This role operates under general supervision and serves as the primary point of contact for human resources matters at the Wausau, WI and Saskatoon, SK facilities. It involves providing support to site employees and managers for their HR needs, requests, and projects, and appropriately directing specialized requests to other HR Representatives based on their area of expertise. In this role, you'll make and impact by: + Acting as a key member of the sites leadership teams to ensure alignment and integration of HR strategies and initiatives with site goals and objectives. + Partnering with site hiring managers during the talent acquisition process by participating in interviews and selection decisions. + Providing guidance to client groups to plan effective onboarding and inboarding for new and transferring employees. Conducts new employee orientation. Providing guidance to management through employee offboarding. Coordinating the exit interview process for assigned sites and communicates trends to management + Offering day-to-day performance management guidance to managers at assigned sites (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). Provides guidance on formal performance management processes and tools. + Recommending employee and team development activities and programs. Facilitates team development sessions in collaboration with the Learning, Leadership & Culture team. + Working closely with management and employees at assigned sites to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. Advises management on appropriate resolution of employee relations issues. + Communicating, enforcing, and interpreting Company policies. + Collaborates within the Global & Regional People & Organization team to support tasks and projects as needed. To succeed you must hold: + High ethical standards, confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy are essential. + Ability to make decisions and exhibit sound and accurate judgment to make timely decisions. + Knowledge of Human Resources industry trends and employment legislation (federal, state and case law). + Must be able to embrace a sense of urgency, innovation, and resourcefulness required in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to handle changing priorities. + Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities. + Proven self-starter, capable of carrying projects through to completion. + These characteristics are normally acquired through a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a Business field with one to three years of Human Resources experience. + HR experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred as well as HR experience in Canada.
