The role of the Senior Solution Specialist - HR, as part of the People Platforms team, is to provide in-depth functional development, and ongoing support and maintenance for a range of HR platforms and systems, ensuring that current and future business requirements are adding value and are fully delivered.  They will also provide in depth process support to the business when scoping requirements to ensure optimal value delivery exploiting best practice solutions. The role works closely with business stakeholders and IT architecture teams to define the strategy for HR systems, building roadmaps which deliver long term value and then delivering those roadmaps through both in-house capability and strategic partners. It also works closely with People Platform Lead and other Platform Leads to ensure joined up roadmaps, designs and solutions with aligned delivery plans. Ability to plan, prepare and execute systems and other staged testing, required to confirm readiness of developed changes for release to live production environments.


Your responsibilities:


Stakeholder management & leadership 
•    Effectively partner with the business to understand the voice of the customers and business requirements to reflect into engineering reality 
•    Guiding and developing HR Functional teams in all aspects of Workday with the focus on translating technical terms into Functional/HR terminology with workable solutions.
•    Challenge Change Requests presented by the HR business with viable, workable options and providing alternative solutions where appropriate.
•    Drive agile working practices that unites the JMIT platform team with Business product stakeholders

Strategy & Planning
•    Lead the strategy and roadmap for in scope platforms, working closely with the engineering teams, stakeholders, and business leaders to align the platform and product with the company's goals and objectives
•    Define and prioritize platform features and capabilities, working with business units to ensure that the platform is responsive to customer needs and aligned to product requirements 

Technical capability 
•    Ensure platforms are secure, scalable, and high performing, monitoring key metrics and KPIs, identifying and addressing issues, and proactively identifying opportunities to optimize performance and enhance the customer experience
•    Drive configuration reviews with engineering team and suppliers by inculcating new ways of thinking to improve design, quality etc. to drive higher engineering productivity and quality while driving standardisation and modularisation 
•    Scope and oversee delivery of projects to implement new or enhance existing platforms, ensuring quality, supportability
•    Ensure that technical debt is minimised for platforms to ensure the platform quality and performance is seamless
•    Provide production L3 support to for technical incidents and requests, liaising with vendors, where needed and providing timely resolution within agreed SLA’s
Innovation 
•    Identify common reusable components across platforms and products to ensure greater efficiency and scalability 
•    Ensure optimisation of the engineering lifecycle through a systematic knowledge management and continuous learning process to better enable the organization to meet market and client needs 
Culture
•    Infuse a sense of ownership & pride amongst team members to deliver high quality work outputs 
•    Institute a self-directed and high-performance culture in the team 
•    Enable a culture of continuous improvement and learning, by coaching team members and role-modelling self-development 

Platform Skills (non-exhaustive)
The HR Solution Specialist will have accountability across a variety of HR platforms including but not limited to:
•    Kronos time tracking
•    Reward and Benefit platform providers – incumbent based on Gallagher platform
•    Global Payroll – CloudPay
•    Pensions Management 
•    Workday – as an awareness of its fundamental role in the HR landscape

Requirements for the role:


•    Highly experienced HRIS professional with experience across multiple full-lifecycle projects, along with ongoing application maintenance and support. 10+ years’ experience.
•    Be a subject matter expert in one or more in scope HRIS platforms, or similar HRIS platforms providing the same capabilities.
•    Excellent business analysis skills in a highly regulated industry e.g., chemical, manufacturing, or
•    Pharmaceutical.
•    Business focused; able to build strong working relationships with the HR function and across JMIT; shaping and aligning business and IT strategy.
•    Experience of providing incident support and maintenance in partnership with internal IT teams and a range of suppliers.

How you will be rewarded:


The annual salary offered for this position: from €55,500-65,500 Annually. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies.
