Join Our Client as a Senior HSE Advisor – Hook-Up & Commissioning

Take the lead in ensuring safety and excellence in offshore operations. We are seeking an experienced Senior HSE Advisor to provide guidance and oversight for the safe execution of Phase 2 Booster Compression Module (BCM) hook-up and commissioning (HUC) activities on a central processing facility, as well as HSE support for the Accommodation Support Vessel (ASV).

Indicative Term of Contract: 9 months casual - with potential to extend
 

Requirements

Tertiary Occupational Health and Safety / Technical Safety Qualifications (T)BOSIET Maritime Security Identification Card OGUK equivelant Medical Lead OHS Auditor “Root Cause” investigator in a recognised RCA methodology; Tap Root preferred Confined Space Entry, Working from Height and Authorised Gas Testing qualifications from an Australian Registered Training Organization Experience with brownfield integration in an operating asset preferred

 

Responsibilities

Provide specialist HSE advice, guidance, and onsite support to the Phase 2b Hook-up and Commissioning (HUC) Team on the CPF Ichthys Explorer and Accommodation Support Vessel (ASV). Understand and support effective implementation of HSE requirements of the BMS. Lead the delivery of Phase 2 HSE improvement initiatives offshore. Support Phase 2 occupational health and safety incident investigations on the CPF and ASV, including conducting incident investigations, entering details into the event reporting system, and developing and tracking actions to prevent recurrence. Review and analyze HSE data, including hazard reports, HSE inspection findings, and incident investigations, to proactively identify opportunities for Phase 2 / ASV / HUC HSE performance improvement. Lead and monitor onsite HSE leading indicator activities related to Phase 2 / HUC activities, including Permit to Work Audits, CIC Inspections, and HSE Observations. Complete daily, weekly, or monthly HSE reports as required. Conduct/participate in HSE assurance activities as per Phase 2b Assurance Schedule. Promote a focus on process safety (including reporting of Tier 3 and 4 events) and support increasing team awareness of process safety management principles. Promote the ‘Stop Work’ authority by intervening in unsafe acts or conditions. Promote the vision of Anzen Dai Ichi – Safety Number One. Assist in the development and implementation of Phase 2 HSE Key Performance Indicators. Participate in the development, review, and implementation of risk assessments and other work planning documentation for Phase 2 / HUC CPF scopes of work to ensure compliance with risk management requirements. Ensure HSE actions raised from, or in relation to, Phase 2 / HUC CPF scopes of work are tracked and closed within due dates. Escalate HSE issues to the Phase 2b HSE Team Lead as necessary. Assist Operations HSE Advisor as required, including Return to Work Presentations, incident investigations, site familiarizations, etc. Regularly interface with the Offshore CPF (operations) HSE team to support the rollout of HSE communication and other initiatives as required. Regularly interface with the Perth-based Phase 2b HSE Team Lead on HSE deliverables, performance, and initiatives. Regularly interface with and oversee the ASV HSE Advisor. Attend and actively participate in Phase 2 / HUC team meetings as required. Actively participate in site HSE meetings, pre-starts, and toolbox talks
