Senior Human Capital Management (HCM) Analyst
Our GFL team is expanding, and we’re looking for a Senior Human Capital Management (HCM) Analyst. In this role, you’ll play a vital part by working closely with the HR leadership to define, structure, and implement improvements and processes in Workday to support our business across North America. This role will join a team of Workday professionals who ensure the successful functioning of Workday at GFL and will partner closely with HR, Payroll, Finance and Operations to improve and maintain the system in our rapidly growing.

A “Day in the Life" of a Senior HCM Analyst: Oversee large-scale data entry (EIB), ensuring accurate data transfer, seamless integration, and alignment with downstream applications.Act as a Workday expert by configuring, customizing, and developing modules, troubleshooting issues, and aligning functionality with business needs.Drive HR process improvements by enhancing end-user experiences, supporting cyclical activities (e.g., performance cycles, compensation cycles), and implementing innovative solutions.Develop and maintain Workday reports and dashboards while proactively identifying system improvement opportunities, including leveraging feedback and bi-annual updates.Partner with stakeholders, external vendors, and cross-functional teams to manage integrations, ensure data integrity, and deliver impactful analytics.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Degree in HR, Business, or a related field, with 4+ years of experience using Workday.Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Office applications; experience with Power BI is an asset.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for detail and accuracy.Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills for high-paced environments.Clear communication skills for diverse audiences; CHRP or CHRL certification is an asset.
