Senior Human Resources Generalist

The Sr. Human Resources Generalist acts as a partner to our company leaders and provides support to our employees. This position requires a well-rounded Human Resources professional with experience successfully developing positive relationships while being a change agent throughout the organization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : · Support for managers, supervisors, and employees to provide counsel, coaching and support on HR-related topics and issues in a complex and dynamic manufacturing environment · Regular cadence meetings with production supervisors and managers to ensure support in all HR needs including staffing, performance, succession planning, development plans, etc. · Develops human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing data/information and recommending appropriate action plans · Create personal SMART goals to align with HR strategic planning initiatives, update goals throughout the year · Recruiting responsibility for assigned office and salaried positions · Assist with production recruiting when necessary · Manage master production roster that is sent to leadership team weekly · Oversee and facilitate employee engagement and appreciation activities, holiday parties, cookouts, etc. · Facilitate new hire orientations, complete E-Verify process & enter new hires in ADP · Update and maintain internal communications (North Star News, bulletin boards, monitors, ADP, etc) · Assist in the completion of open enrollment · Writes, revises and maintains hourly and salaried job descriptions · Complete employee change forms when necessary · Participate in annual strategic projects including HR long-range planning & organizational and talent review · Oversee annual office review process, including training of all leaders and in-scope employees · Ensure proper investigation documentation is complete and uploaded to required sites · Spend time on the floor weekly to be an HR presence for employees and build relationships · Document and communicate daily absenteeism · Provide scheduled and ad hoc reporting to company leadership and Polaris corporate · Other duties as needed, including administrative help, filing and scanning **Requirements** + Experience with ADP Workforce Now and Attendance on Demand Timekeeping a plus. + Must be able to understand comprehend all state and federal laws for compliance. + Must have excellent time management skills. + Ability to manage multiple projects as assigned with varying priorities. + Strong attention to detail and have excellent follow through on commitments. + Must be able to communicate verbally and written professionally with all levels of the organization. + Must be able to be cross trained and have the willingness to wear many hats when needed. + The ability to speak two languages is desirable (English/Spanish). + Must have the ability to build strong relationships on all levels of the organization. + Attention to detail + A bachelor's degree and three (3) to five (5) years of Human Resources experience, OR + Seven (7) years of experience in the HR field, OR + Any similar combination of education and experience. + Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
