The Senior Human Resources Specialist will be a trusted partner with the Director of HR, Sourcing / Recruiting team, and leaders within the division in managing staffing / headcount budgets, compensation, employee relations, training / development, and performance management. Responsibilities also include ensuring HRIS data integrity, generating reports, and providing transactional HR and acquisition support.
**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:**
**Staffing & Recruitment Support:**
+ Monitor and manage staffing levels and headcount within the approved budget.
+ Partner with hiring managers and the recruiting team to facilitate seamless hiring processes.
+ Support new hire onboarding to ensure a positive experience and compliance with company policies.
+ Assist with offer preparation, compensation recommendations, and internal job postings.
**Employee Relations & Performance Management:**
+ Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
+ Support employee relations initiatives, including conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
+ Assist in executing performance management programs, including the coaching process and performance reviews.
**HR Operations & Data Management:**
+ Ensure HRIS data integrity and accuracy, supporting reporting and analytics needs.
+ Generate HR reports and provide insights into workforce trends and metrics.
+ Provide transactional HR support and assist with various projects and process improvements as needed.
**Training & Development Initiatives:**
+ Support the planning and execution of training and development programs to enhance employee skills and the MCA culture / values.
+ Assist with leadership development initiatives and succession planning efforts.
+ Promote continuous learning and professional growth opportunities within the organization.
**Acquisition Support:**
+ Assist the M&A team by providing transactional support for onboarding and assimilating newly acquired employees.
+ Champion MCA’s culture and values, ensuring alignment with acquired teams through effective integration efforts.
+ Support employee communications, orientations, and training to facilitate smooth transitions.
+ Provide guidance to new managers and employees to ensure a positive onboarding experience.
+ Assist in structuring roles and aligning the organization for seamless integration.
**WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
+ 2-3+ years of working experience in Human Resources or equivilant role.
+ Strong organizational skills and self-motivation to keep deadlines on tight schedules while ensuring wages are issued accurately and timely.
+ Desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
+ Possess service first DNA and commitment to providing a positive candidate / employee experience.
+ An ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, with hiring managers, prospects, applicants, employees, colleagues, and external partners.
+ Strong skills in the use of computers using MS software, web-based applications, and automated HRIS systems.
**YOUR ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:**
The physical environment requires the employee to work inside.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear; lift (overhead, waist level) from the floor, bending, frequently utilize near vision use for reading and computer use; occasionally move equipment weighing up to 15 pounds, and frequently position self to maintain computers or other equipment as needed.

Travel as necessary to support company, acquisitions, and internal customer needs.
