Job Requirements
BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear, Chemical, Computer, or Process/Controls Engineering (ABET-accredited)
18+ years engineering experience
8+ years nuclear power experience
Digital and analog controls engineering experience
Experience with operating plant procedures and processes
Nuclear plant licensing experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
Ability to pass security screening and drug screening
Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted nuclear plant access
Willingness to work overtime
Ability to travel to project/client sites
Ability to perform plant walkdowns, climb ladders, access secure areas, and enter confined/hazardous spaces
Preferred Skills
Controls modernization projects (I&C upgrades, digital conversions, obsolescence replacements)
Experience supporting procedure changes, operational evaluations, and implementation packages
Experience producing licensing deliverables and regulatory submittal support documentation
Job Responsibilities
Lead controls engineering scope for digital and analog I&C systems in nuclear plant environments
Develop engineering deliverables supporting plant modifications and licensing activities
Interface with plant operations and engineering to align designs with operating procedures and plant processes
Perform field walkdowns and verification activities; document conditions and develop implementation actions
Coordinate multiple project schedules and priorities; track scope, deliverables, and action items
Support installation and commissioning readiness, including procedure alignment and site execution support
Prepare technical documentation and presentations using Microsoft Office tools
Maintain compliance with site access requirements, security rules, and applicable plant safety practices
Pay Details: $69.00 to $79.00 per hour
