Job Responsibilities:

Design and develop Ignition-based solutions to address manufacturing shopfloor operations challenges, focusing on OEE analysis and visualization, particularly equipment status and downtime management/escalation. Collaborate with global and site-based cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design effective solutions. Configure and deploy data models, Ignition modules, components, and integrations with external systems. Develop and maintain design documentation, project plans, and timelines. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Ignition-based modules.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Over 5 years of proven experience in OT systems integration and development within regulated manufacturing environments. Extensive experience with the Ignition platform. Proficiency in PLC/HMI programming and configuration. Experience in integrating with various databases (SQL, MySQL, Redshift, etc.). Knowledge of standard and industrial protocols (JDBC, MQTT, OPC UA, Modbus, etc.). Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Compensation: - Base pay and this position are also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
