We are hiring a Senior Improvement Engineer to join team.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Performs engineering work in operations, production, construction or maintenance environments. Plans, designs and estimates time and cost and oversees construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, systems and components. Analyzes and develops solutions to engineering problems related to manufacturing equipment and systems or the causes of component failures. Develops and applies engineering standards and procedures and provides advice on issues within the engineering field.Build respect and trust of the operations team because of their great process technology knowledge and continuous improvement skill set.  Drive knowledge exchange with technology experts (Operations, Manufacturing Technology, Engineering, internal consultant groups, sister plants, local external experts) to increase awareness of potential improvement opportunities for the technology. Partner with Manufacturing Technology (MT) to develop and implement projects from the Operations Business Technology Implementation Plan (BTIP) that deliver positive year-over-year ROC (return on capital) and non-capital continuous improvement while meeting the plant level EH&S improvement goals.   Ensure Business Technology Implementation Plan (BTIP) projects are fully implemented and validate the performance delivers or exceeds the expected results.Support the facility root cause failure analysis process by serving as a team member or facilitator for incidents related to process technology.  Lead and support plant continuous improvement activities aligned to the BTIP and support the capital plan for the facility.  This includes leading continuous improvement activities for the facility and serving in specific project management & execution roles for smaller projects.Serves as the implementation arm of Manufacturing Technology.  This includes serving as the local focal point for technology implementation.  Accountable to Manufacturing Technology for delivery of improvements.Leads minor capital projects to support plant capacity increase, cost reduction, process safety requirements, or new product growth.  Provides basic data for small and large capital projects.Operates with latitude for action and decision-making; uses judgment to make decisions that affect own area of responsibility within the business/function.Solves technical or operational problems (with or without vague/unstructured aspects); takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.Expected to serve in the plant on-call rotation.    This position reports to the HSL Manufacturing Technology Manager and receives local oversight, training, and guidance from HIMS Site Leadership.Limited travel (
