Senior Industrial Engineer Job Number: JO-2502-10844 Location (City, State): King of Prussia, PA Employee Group: Regular Shift: Day Travel: Site Name: King of Prussia 935 Is Remote Eligible: Yes Pay: Radial, Inc. seeks Senior Industrial Engineer in King of Prussia, PAand various unanticipated worksites throughout U.S. Job Duties : Evaluate and improve operational costs in fulfillment operations organization. Work performance evaluations to assist with process development and labor standards for multiple functions within fulfillment center(s). Conduct statistical analysis and reporting on client profitability and overall contribution to Radial. Conduct procedures improvement analysis with emphasis on Lean Production and continuous improvement initiatives. Assist with operational and financial forecasting, staffing, analyzing productivity trends and capital expenditures. Develop and manage project plans for fulfillment projects – client requests, capacity enhancements, automation testing and implementations, and HW/SW changes. Analyze data from potential new clients to create costing estimates to structure client agreements. Support storage and processing area design, develop new workflows and procedures, work with vendors to procure equipment, and manage required build-out or construction in facility. Support overall facility design exercises, manage new system and equipment installations, ensure safe and cost-efficient procedures. With Warehouse Management team, develop optimal system design and configuration for operations. Compare productivity, accuracy, and performance to new client business models. Develop and manage databases to make intelligent business decisions. Assist with intern recruiting, training, and development. Telecommuting permitted . Minimum Requirements : Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in engineering or a closely related field and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in the field of industrial engineering. Special Skill Requirements : + Industrial Automation Implementation & troubleshooting experience. + Automation capacity analysis & workforce planning experience. + Procurement of Industrial equipment and defining equipment specification. + Industrial material handling equipment (MHE) (specially conveyer systems) + Preventive maintenance of mechanical systems (specially conveyer systems) + Developing and presenting data analysis on various operational metrics to company leadership to aid decision making. + Programming, coding, and layout design software such as CAD, R and SQL. + Working with vendors to determine and implement automation solutions to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs. + Project management experience with the ability to lead initiatives, familiarity with RACI, Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Statement of Work (SOW) and Budget Management. + Writing SOPs for large scale automation systems. + Providing training to associate staff on automation systems. + Conduct equipment safety analysis for safe operation of automation systems.
