We seek a visionary and results-driven Senior Industry Marketing Manager to spearhead our vertical marketing strategy. Reporting directly to the Global Director of Marketing within the Customer Marketing team, this pivotal role will be at the heart of our industry marketing efforts. The industry marketing team empowers our clients with the data and insights they need to propel their businesses forward. Our mission is to redefine the future of marketing across leading sectors like Technology and Financial Services by delivering industry-specific actionable insights that set the gold standard for industry marketing excellence. This individual will be crucial to our global marketing team, establishing LinkedIn’s reputation for key B2B and high-consideration B2C clients. They will build subject matter expertise across priority verticals and execute global 360-degree marketing programs, including conducting research, creating content, executing events, developing sales enablement, and managing social media initiatives. The ideal candidate is a passionate and skilled marketer with a knack for building strong business relationships and leveraging opportunities across the organization. They are deeply invested in understanding marketers, enabling them, and helping them achieve their objectives. The key challenge in this role is effectively promoting LinkedIn in a highly competitive B2B marketing landscape. This individual will be an invaluable partner to sales, identifying new ways to deliver customer value and expanding into new buying groups. They will collaborate extensively with other teams, such as the International, Integrated, Growth, Agency, and Content marketing teams, along with cross-functional partners such as Finance, Business and Sales Operations, and Customer Science. They will deliver programs that resonate with our customers and drive consideration and media investments on our platform. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team. Responsibilities: + Manage key relationships with Regional Marketers, Sales, Integrated Marketing, Product Marketing, Insights, and other stakeholders to support and effectively communicate our team's objectives and influence their teams' work. + Execute key marketing programs and campaigns in collaboration with Sales and other cross-functional partners to deliver customer value and grow media investments on our platform. These go-to-market activities will include: + Thought Leadership: Analyze industry and market trends, research, and internal resources to craft compelling stories that position LinkedIn as an industry thought leader and the marketing platform of choice. Deliver reports, narratives, blog posts, and campaigns that provide insights for our clients to help them achieve their goals. + Sales Enablement: Drive scalable communication and education for Sales on content, research, and marketing initiatives relevant to customers. Foster sales adoption and usage of marketing materials and campaigns. + Go-To-Markets: Develop, own, and demonstrate the creative execution of multi-channel marketing GTMs, including digital ads, content creation, research development, events, PR, executive engagement, case studies, and more. + Track and report marketing program performance regularly to identify efforts delivering the most customer value and driving business growth. + Understand and articulate LinkedIn's overall business objectives and its value proposition to the advertising community. Basic Qualifications: + 8+ years of experience in a B2B marketing role Preferred Qualifications: + Demonstrated knowledge of B2B, digital, content, and industry marketing + Demonstrated ability to craft thought leadership, industry insights, and product messaging to engage target audiences. + Proven experience developing integrated go-to-market (GTM) campaigns that utilize multiple tactics, including social media, paid media, events, webinars, and digital marketing + Ability to ideate, create, and manage both in-person and virtual events, including developing event content, recruiting and preparing speakers, coordinating logistics, managing budgets, overseeing promotional efforts, driving audience engagement, and measuring event success through post-event analysis + Excellent stakeholder management and influencing capabilities, especially within a matrixed organization + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas, updates, and results to business partners on various levels + Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners and align across multiple shared objectives + Ability to operate in a fast-paced and demanding environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing resources based on business impact + Experience partnering with sales teams, with a solid grasp of sales processes and operations. + Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams across multiple time zones, with a deep understanding and appreciation for cultural diversity and regional nuance + Alignment with LinkedIn’s values and culture, with a dedication to diversity, inclusion, belonging and equity Suggested Skills: + Customer-Centric Mindset + Content Strategy & Development + Campaign Planning & Execution + Stakeholder Management + Sales Enablement LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $121,000 to $188,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
