Position Description
Position : Senior Informatica IICS Developer
Location : Bangalore
Years of experience : 4 to 10 years
Over 5+ years of experience in ETL and a minimum of 3+ years of experience specifically with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
Role & responsibilities
Informatica IICS with 5 + years of experience
Experience designing ETL methodology for supporting data transformations using Informatica Cloud & Informatica Power Centre (Must)
Experienced with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (Mandatory hands-on Application and Data integration services)
Should have strong DB experiences Oracle and SQL e.t.c
Proficient in analyzing business processes requirements and translating them into technical requirements (Must)
Proficient in Data Modeling, writing complex SQL queries, SQL query tuning (Must)
Hands on experience working on Flat files, multiple databases like SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle or DynamoDB.
Experience in shell scripting / Python Scripting (Desired)
Familiarity with Agile delivery methods (i.e. Scrum, Kanban)(Desired)
Nice to have experience in other cloud technologies (Azure/AWS), Linux and Python
Must have:
• Experience in building Informatica ETL mapping preferably in Informatica Cloud Data Integration, or previously PowerCenter equivalent
• Proficient with SQL queries, preferably Oracle-based connectivity. Most of Epicure on-prem DBs are Oracle.
• Proactive mindset, able to work and collaborate as part of Scrum teams. Perhaps not straightforward to measure but need developer who can work together with Product Owners, Data Architects and other stakeholders.
Nice to have:
• Knowledge to connect to API endpoint as source/target in Informatica, have experience with Informatica REST Connector
• Practical experience with specific Informatica modules like Cloud Application Integration, Integration Hub, Profile, Data Quality etc.
• Ability to work on Linux environments
• Knowledge on basic Subsurface data model
