The Senior Informatics Technical Support Analyst is responsible for providing support and technical issue resolution to field service and customers for IT requests and participating in the development of new products by providing feedback on privacy and security measures. This position reports to the supervisor of Informatics Technical Support and is part of the Global Technical Support Team located in either Indianapolis, IN or Miami, FL and will be an ONSITE role five days a week. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Act as informatics/connectivity support on customer support calls and for field service engineers, supporting connected and cloud-based instruments. + Navigate complex customer networking environments to facilitate the implementation of software and instrumentation. + Provide pre-sales support on IT related issues for customers and sales partners. + Support internal projects such as OS updates, patches, and new products to ensure service and customer readiness and attend customer implementations calls regarding BeckmanConnect, PROService, DI-IM, and LIS. + Manage and sustain proprietary remote support tool including new account requests, troubleshooting, reporting and filling out IT assessments. The essential requirements of the job include: + Bachelor’s degree in a science field + 5+ years of IT software and hardware support, and network/OS security preferably in a regulated laboratory or corporate environment + Configure networking (Windows 2000, Vista, XP, 7, 10, 11) and troubleshoot network connectivity issues (firewall, proxy, IP configuration) + Linux and DOS navigation and basic commands/scripting + Troubleshooting ASTM and HL7 communication log and PC Hardware troubleshooting (failure to boot, component failure, etc.) Travel Requirements: + This position requires up to 10% travel. Travel will primarily be domestic but may occasionally be international.
