Senior Information Architect

Job Description

To our tech center in Prague, alternatively to Hyderabad, we are searching for a meticulous and experienced (senior) Information Architect to join our talented team. Your central responsibility as the Information Architect will be to develop, optimize, and oversee our company’s conceptual and logical data systems. Your duties may include preparing architect reports, monitoring the system, and supervising IA system migrations.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing expertise in the areas of data governance, management, quality, and stewardship to support client engagements. The candidate will demonstrate an ability to execute data-driven strategies to identify risks and mitigation approaches. The ideal candidate will have experience in facilitating change and customer engagement as it relates to maturing data management, data governance, and data stewardship across complex enterprises. This should include a demonstrated understanding of the theory and practice of the technical and organizational change activities required.

Responsibilities

Data Governance: Facilitate the development of enterprise domain-based data governance and policies, including data stewardship, audit requirements, and service-level agreements to ensure data quality and appropriate use

Data Quality Improvement: Identify opportunities for data quality improvement and reuse of data quality tools

Tool Utilization: Work with Collibra as the primary tool, along with other tools like Immuta rules engine

Enterprise Data Marketplace: Leverage technical expertise to enhance the capabilities of the enterprise data marketplace, including data cataloging, discovery, and governance

Data Product Management: Mature the company’s delivery of information assets by using product management practices to offer “Data Products”

Data Asset Management: Drive the notion of reusable data assets and manage data as a strategic asset

Digital Architecture Design: Analyze user needs and business goals to create robust, user-friendly, and effective digital architecture

System Model Evaluation: Examine and identify system models to deliver information capabilities by evaluating business processes

Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with information security, business, and IT stakeholders to implement information access policies and rules of use, explaining complex issues and building alignment around them

Information Architecture Culture: Create a culture of information architecture across analytics solutions to deliver a frictionless flow of data

Technical Publications: Publish and present technical papers to external audiences and participate in significant internal publications, sharing new ideas and knowledge

Technology Utilization: Demonstrate effective use of technology to complete assignments, exploring novel approaches through experimentation

Staff Education: Educate staff members through training and individual support

Qualifications (Education minimum requirements subject to change based on country)

5+ years of experience in data science, data modeling, requirements management, technical advice, system designs, data management, strategic planning, and business process modeling

Strong understanding and experience in designing and implementing IT architecture for business process management

Hands-on experience with data governance tools such as Collibra, Alation, Immuta, etc., with the ability to create data products

Proven ability to align technology initiatives with business goals on an enterprise-wide level

Experience in developing information usage/decision-making use cases, information models, and quality assessments

Proficiency in analyzing, designing, and developing solutions based on current versus future state in alignment with business needs

Ability to define and implement enterprise technology capabilities for end-user and application development services

Knowledge of information architecture frameworks, processes, and technology to address critical data challenges and future needs

Excellent problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify issues, solve them quickly and effectively, and know when to rely on internal resources

Strong leadership skills, including strategic planning, entrepreneurship, innovation, and business acumen. Proven track record in coaching and development, talent growth, and execution excellence
