The Intelligence Programs Group (IPG), part of SPA’s Space and Intelligence Division, is a specialized provider of systems engineering and trusted advisory services to the Space and National Intelligence community. SPA has a need for a Senior Information Knowledge Manager in support of its Caledonia effort supporting a local Intelligence Community (IC) customer. Caledonia will provide support to Systems Engineering and IT Service Strategy; Enterprise Planning and Management; and Enterprise Acquisition and Contract management functions.
ResponsibilitiesThe Information Knowledge Manager role is in support of a large customer and enterprise IT environment, providing web services, designs files, and enabling strategic communications. As an Information Knowledge Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, designing, and developing a wide range of service requests for the customer using SharePoint, web development languages, custom designs and providing communication support to fulfill customers need. This role will create, maintain, and develop/design user friendly and customer SharePoint sites and libraries, enhance business processing via automated workflows, track, triage, and fulfill service requests, leverage design files and design techniques for clear branding and marketing materials, and work in sync with the customer to articulate clear workforce messaging.
Key duties associated with this role include but are not limited to the following:
Assist in architecting, designing, and developing a large, customer-facing, service-oriented SharePoint environment for a large IT organization.Participate in requirements gathering, technical design sessions, and solution discussions.Work closely with leadership and key stakeholders to develop communication strategies that align with business objectives and goals.Document and provide clear documentation and write-ups to customers, team on projects, and break/fixes.Manage web environment design, deployment, and maintenance activities.Create communication plans that address both short- and long-term organizational needs.Perform testing and quality assurance of websites and web applications.Manage structure and content to include graphics for collaboration artifacts, data repositories based on SharePoint, and other web/collaboration technologies.Facilitate communication between the organization to promote alignment and collaboration.Provide support to assist customer content managers in accomplishing complex tasks.Create, design, and customize unique sites, graphics/designs, libraries, and communications aligned to the mission, goals, and strategic objectives for the organization. QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI clearance with CI PolyBachelor’s degree or similar experience (6+ years of demonstrated performance with web development)Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in strategic communications or corporate communicationsStrong proficiency with SharePoint and other web/collaboration technologiesMaintain documentation related to web-based solutions, configurations, customizations, and integrationsExperience in configuring SharePoint for document management, records management, and collaborationAbility to integrate other programming languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to enhance web design and business processesAbility to design and execute communication plansExceptional writing and editing skills to provide clear messagingCreative in design work on websites using graphics for organizational branding Experience working in, collaborating with, and facilitating large and small groups, to include presentation skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
