Senior Information Security Program Manager

As a Senior Information Security Program Manager, you’ll expertly manage business-critical programs that protect the security and infrastructure for the organization. You’ll define the success criteria, strategy, and technical direction for Information Security programs and processes. You’ll collaborate across internal and external teams to ensure that work stays on track and deliverables are met, communicating progress to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. You’ll elevate program management standards and have demonstrated your ability to mentor and execute projects at a higher caliber.

About the Role

Drive strategy, execution and technical direction for complex information security programs, including scope, deliverables, and communication strategyOwn risk mitigation plans, including risk tracking and progress monitoringDevelop program milestones, key performance indicators, and success criteria in collaboration with subject matter expertsManage the execution of program plans across internal and external teams with competing priorities, deadlines, and dependenciesCreate project artifacts related to the phases of the program management life cycleDevelop frameworks and best practices for compliance and information securityDiagram processes and synthesize data to identify opportunities for improvement and inform decisionsRepresent Information Security in discussions regarding business strategy discussions, special projects, escalations, and senior leadership escalationsStay informed of broader changes impacting business capabilities, such as emerging security risks and industry trendsAssist with incident assessment and incident management as neededProvide training and expertise to team members and stakeholders

About You

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent competency in business administration, Information Technology or related8 years of experience or equivalent competency in Information Security, Program Management, Business Continuity or relatedExperience leading efforts in the design, implementation, training and maintenance for continuous testing and monitoring of all information security compliance activities related to SOC 1, SOC2 and SOX.Expertise influencing, negotiating with, and gaining buy-in from stakeholders across an organization, including senior leadershipExpertise with one or more data analysis tools, such as Excel, PowerBI or TableauExpertise with industry-standard information security frameworks or regulatory compliance frameworksExpertise using project management tools, such as Microsoft Azure DevOps Server (ADS) or QuickBaseExperience with an IT service management (ITSM) tool, such as ServiceNowExperience leading teams spanning organizational levelsExperience training and mentoringPreferred Qualifications5 years of experience in an Information Security Program Management roleSecurity certification, such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)Agile certificationExperience communicating with executive leadershipExperience setting strategic or technical direction for Information Security programsExperience with the Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS), Azure DevOps (ADO), QuickBase, ServiceNow or Cloud Environments
