Senior Information Services Business Intelligence Analyst

(This position is hybrid and will require some onsite work in Indianapolis, Indiana)

The senior information services business intelligence analyst will work in collaboration with IS leadership to understand the IT needs of their business partners and develop a plan to demonstrate the value of investing in IT solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Effectively applies IU Health's Business Intelligence systems to provide timely, accurate, and reliable reporting information useful for decision making purposes. Performs data analysis, data validation, and investigates identified business inefficiencies in order to develop business improvement recommendations.  Identifies new Key Performance Measurements (KPM's) to investigate for potential operational improvement opportunities, requires understanding business operations that are relevant to each KPM and developing appropriate strategies for new KPM's to be appropriately evaluated. Lead the development of program documentation including training and educational material relative to performance and business intelligence.

Finance Lean in Healthcare Data Analytics Relationship Management

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree required in Mathematics, Finance, Engineering, Economics, Accounting, or related Healthcare Performance/Administration. 5-7 years of experience required. Experience in a healthcare, resource management/reporting, corporate finance or accounting setting strongly preferred. Requires basic knowledge of finance or statistics (ROI, NPV, risk, etc.). Requires proficiency in MS Excel, Access and data analytics tools (Tableau, Predictive Analytics, OpenRefine, etc.).
