The Position Responsible for the onsite operation, maintenance, administration, & improvement of selected information systems & platforms. Relationships Manager, IT Essential Functions + Responsible for local site IT Security Procedure Compliance + Translates the needs & requirements of Novo Nordisk businesses & functions into IT solutions + Identifies IT gaps & recommends strategic technical solutions to meet those IT &/or business needs + Ensure that installation, troubleshooting, qualification & validation of equipment & systems meets objectives & requirements + Leads IT efforts as work package owner on site projects & leads internal & external IS Analysts working on projects + Provides mentoring & technical guidance to IS Analysts + Provides IT Governance for IT Infrastructure + Analyzes, plans, & audits the IT systems supported + Responsible for providing the Disaster Recovery Plan any new IT systems implemented + Annual Disaster Recovery Testing for any supported systems + Provide ad-hoc production support & after-hours support to the site + Follow all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of duties + Other duties as assigned Physical Requirements Ability to work in an open office environment with the possibility of frequent distraction. Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree in information technology or related field from an accredited university required + May consider an Associate’s degree in information technology or related field from an accredited college with a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in information technology + May consider a High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of nine (9) years of experience in information technology + Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in information technology experience required, pharmaceutical industry preferred + Practical experience in implementing & administering infrastructure systems with more than 500 end users a plus + Experienced professional in active directory, virtualization, storage, server administration, remote desktop services, networking, &/or disaster recovery required + Certification in an infrastructure services, security, or networking discipline (e.g. MSCE, Security+) required + Specific knowledge of Microsoft networking principles & concepts required + Experience authoring IT proposals, requirements, & specifications required + Trouble-shoot, diagnose, resolve & document IT infrastructure systems preferred + Create, implement, & ensure adherence to strategic IT solution strategies preferred + Establish, enforce & maintain IT infrastructure policies & procedures preferred + Operate infrastructure systems under FDA regulations & guidelines as they relate to computer-based information & automation systems preferred + Coordinate computer system operation & administration tasks of multi-user computer & communications systems, including user security administration, training, backup, restoration, system software updates, performance monitoring, problem determination & resolution preferred + Experience in backing up & restoring systems preferred + Maintain infrastructure documentation in accordance with federal, corporate, & local requirements preferred + Maintain & update the IT disaster recovery plan for supported systems preferred + Perform life-cycle system development tasks for IT infrastructure preferred + Provides IT infrastructure security governance preferred + Assists management with coordinating & prioritizing activities of IT infrastructure team preferred + Demonstrates leadership skills; act as project lead or work package owner & lead cross functional project teams in the development & implementation of programs preferred + Knowledge of project management & the development life cycle required + Perform project implementation & management tasks, including needs assessment, market surveys, design specification development, system implementation & training for various information technology, telecommunication technology projects in accordance with established procedures preferred + Assure all system documentation is up to date prior to rollout & compliant with requirements preferred + Has the ability to influence others on objectives & projects outcomes preferred + Establish & operate within IT infrastructure cost center & project budgets preferred + Demonstrates superior written & oral communication skills preferred + Develops & maintains strong internal relationships preferred + Participate in corporate infrastructure guidance groups preferred + Responsible for firewall security & remediation preferred + Performs security risk assessments as required preferred + Conducts vendor security assessments for new vendors per standard security procedures preferred + Responsible for ensuring the security of the server rooms, IDFs, & IT labs preferred + Performs audits via QAP on access control of administrative accounts preferred + Identifies gaps with SLAs with external vendors/corporate preferred + Works with system managers to identify gaps in SARBOX & GMP data protection preferred + Strategic IT Project planning and site support preferred We commit to an inclusive recruitment process and equality of opportunity for all our job applicants.
