Senior Information Technology Support Technician

Assist team members with technical issues and deliver effective solutions. Communicate clearly with both team members and management to understand and resolve problems. This role encompasses 1st and 2nd tier support, both remotely and on-site. Additionally, assistance with systems and network administration as needed. Job Duties Diagnose, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues. Handle 1st and 2nd tier help desk requests. Assist in supervising and training 1st tier staff. Install and configure computer workstations. Assist team members with computer hardware and software problems. Maintain the inventory of hardware and software. Install and troubleshoot printers. Create new user accounts in Active Directory and other applications. Perform software installations and upgrades. Maintain phone system databases (PBX, voicemail, and call accounting). Address phone issues for residents and staff. Configure and secure Apple iOS devices. Participate in emergency on-call rotation with IT staff. Job Qualifications 3 to 5 years of experience in tier 1 support or equivalent experience. Extensive expertise in Windows workstation operating systems. Basic understanding of Windows server operating systems. Familiarity with wired and wireless networks. Knowledge of IP phone systems and management. Basic understanding of network switches. Experience with Kace SMA (preferred). Microsoft Certified Professional (Windows 11 or Server 2016 or newer) (preferred). CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+ certifications (required). Proven experience in IT support or a similar role. Strong knowledge of various operating systems and software applications. Ability to supervise and mentor a team. Familiarity with network troubleshooting and hardware maintenance. Experience with Active Directory and user account management. Proficiency in installing and upgrading operating systems and software. Knowledge of phone system databases (PBX, voicemail, and call accounting). Ability to configure and secure Apple iOS devices.
