What are we looking for:

We are looking to add an Infrastructure Engineer with prior extensive operations experience for a SaaS product who can drive large-scale data infrastructure with a focus on self-service and automation. You will also help keep our uptime promise to customers by making sure we meet our SLOs. You will help our engineering teams ship software to our customers fast and with quality. Someone who has driven continuous deployment, has run incident post-mortems, has worked on engineering architecture vision and has automated repetitive operational tasks would be a great fit. You will join a like-minded team of awesome Infrastructure engineers who help run our operations smoothly at scale. What will you do?  Drive Large-Scale Data Infrastructure: Lead the design, implementation, and scaling of infrastructure for our SaaS product, focusing on self-service and automation. Ensure Uptime & Meet SLOs: Maintain high availability by ensuring our services meet their Service Level Objectives (SLOs), delivering on our uptime promises to customers. Support Engineering Teams: Facilitate fast, high-quality software delivery by supporting continuous integration and deployment processes. Improve Platform Reliability & Efficiency: Drive initiatives to enhance the reliability, stability, and cost efficiency of SentinelOne’s platform. Automate Operational Tasks: Identify and automate repetitive tasks to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention. Run Incident Post-Mortems: Lead and participate in incident post-mortems, ensuring that root causes are identified and mitigated. Contribute to Architectural Vision: Collaborate on the engineering architecture vision, ensuring it aligns with operational best practices and business goals. What skills and knowledge should you bring? 5+ years experience in running operations at a large scale for a SaaS product Python/Golang/Java/Ruby as main scripting languages (we use Python and Golang) Great Networking Foundation, Understanding of network protocols and concepts is mandatory.  Deep expertise with one of the following Cloud providers: AWS, GCP, Azure You’ve used Terraform to setup cloud native services You understand the networking foundation of Cloud Providers Familiarity with observability standards and tools (Prometheus/Grafana stack is preferred) Familiarity with CI and practical delivery using any of Travis, CircleCI, Codefresh, Spinnaker, Jenkins or buildkite, familiarity with deployment strategies like blue green, rolling deploys, canary deploys  and best practices around deployment automation (with tools like shipit or spinnaker) is desired Experience with Kubernetes. The ideal candidate is someone with extended knowledge of Kubernetes and its eco-system. Understanding of Kubernetes networking and internals.
