The Space, Defence and Intelligence business unit in CGI is a true IT Systems Integrator. Are you passionate about enhancing infrastructure and supporting live systems? We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Infrastructure Implementation & Configuration Specialist. This role will focus on the implementation and configuration of infrastructure improvements, maintaining deployment environments, and supporting changes to live systems when needed. If you're proactive, with a knack for problem-solving and a strong technical background, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and configure infrastructure enhancements to ensure system efficiency and scalability.
• Maintain and manage deployment environments.
• Provide support for changes to live systems when required.
• Produce clear and concise technical documentation as needed.
• Scripting: Proficiency in scripting, preferably with PowerShell.
• Server Maintenance: Hands-on experience with Windows server maintenance.
• SQL Server: High-level expertise in managing and maintaining SQL Server.
• Networking/Communications: Strong understanding of network and communication systems.
Desired Competencies:
• SQL: Experience with SQL, preferably SQL Server.
• General Platform Knowledge: Familiarity with platforms such as SANs, McAfee, NetBackup, WSUS, and other infrastructure technologies.
• A proven track record in infrastructure configuration and maintenance.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Excellent communication skills, with experience in technical documentation.
