You will be responsible for automations managing global VMware infrastructure. Cooperate on global design of VMware infrastructure and automate defined tasks based on definition from architecture or operation teams. Besides that, you will provide end to end support of VMware infrastructure, deliver standard build guidelines for VMware global infrastructure and also investigate problems and other requests for support and determine appropriate actions. 
You will support business critical applications running within the area of responsibility. Actively participate on assigned projects and technical designs with service architects concentrating on virtual environment. Support project delivery by providing the product specific software expertise, provide technical consultancy to DHL ITS customers to support an application. Provide key technical consultation with major migration and transition programs, document the architecture and all procedures and prepare guidelines for other teams working with the virtual infrastructure.  Ready to embark on the journey? Here’s what we are looking for: As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, having VMware vSphere and Windows/Linux OS is a huge plus. Very good knowledge of scripting languages will also be an integral part of this role. 
You are a technology aficionado, therefore you have a good understanding of ITIL, ServiceNow, Azure. You are able to work independently, prioritize and organize your tasks under time and workload pressure. Working in a multinational environment, you can expect cross-region collaboration with teams around the globe, thus being advanced in spoken and written English will be certainly useful.
