About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Institutional Investment Operations Representative.
Operations Shared Services team is a cross-functional group of teams that provide support for Reference Data as well as the broader Wells Fargo organization. The Shared Services organization aims to be the owners and stewards of both client and product data with a focus on operational excellence and superior client servicing. Team Member will be part of the Custodian process and will be responsible for client documentations like Audit verifications, Trade Confirmations and Statement. In addition, the team member will be facilitating trade settlements, perform Pledge activities, providing the price to securities and On-Boarding clients for Safekeeping products. Team member will also drive initiatives and provide solutions that will have an impact on client experience and risk mitigation.
In this role, you will:
Perform a variety of operational tasks for complex institutional trades or process extensive knowledge of systemsProvide ideas for improving or implementing processesPerform moderately complex duties such as processing, researching inquires, and reconciling transactionsReview time sensitive documentsProvide training or work direction to less experienced staffSupport audit requirements within the processAddress compliance and corporate governance issues for the departmentLead or participate in projectsCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsInteract with internal and external customers as per prescribed process or procedureIdentify and drive process re-engineering or transformation opportunities within the processReceive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirementsManaging the work queue and provide client documentation on demand that include audit verification, Trade confirmation and monthly Statements requestsYou will be responsible to facilitate trade settlements.Performing Pledge related activities i.e. substitute, release and pledge the client's securities.Responsible for onboarding client for Safekeeping products that include Reporting, Trading, Third Party & Valuations etc.,Manage customer service, funding operations, custodial operations, and securities settlement services.Perform moderately complex duties such as processing, researching inquires and reconciling transactions.Provide operational and customer support for lifecycle tasks for institutional trades.Responsible for handling customer queries and requests directlyIdentifies and highlight/escalate potential risk arising within process.Excellent Interpersonal skills – ability to build relationships.Strong Knowledge of the Securities related regulations i.e., FINRA & OCC.Oversee BAU and identify process enhancement opportunitiesSupport our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven cultureWork with other Client Data teams to effectively manage and process client data requestsDevelop strong working relationships with Stakeholders, Sales, Compliance, other onboarding teamsEnsure and Adhere to policies and proceduresBecome a risk manager by ensuring data integrity and challenging where requiredProvide reporting to senior leadership and produce insightful analyses of the business upon request for managementRequired Qualifications:
4+ years of Institutional Investment Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualification:
Strong Knowledge of the Securities market and regulations including FINRA and OCC and any other regulatory policies and rules will be added advantage.Knowledge and exposure to application like Confirmation.com and Bloomberg will be added advantage.Extensive knowledge and understanding of Custodians, Confirms and Settlements, capital markets products, industry trends, and industry-wide best practices.Advanced knowledge of Client on-boarding & Trade Life cycle.Strong Analytic ability, with high attention to detail, accuracy and strong problem solving skillsAbility to communicate (written/verbal) effectively at all organizational levelsAbility to plan and organize workload within tight deadlines, meeting day-to-day objectives as well as longer term strategic goalsPosting End Date:
