The Instructional Designer (ID) works with business leaders and subject matter experts to implement all aspects of the education process including research, assessment, design, development, and delivery of learning initiatives. The ID is also responsible for creation of interactive eLearning courses, as well as experiential learning.
The ID will collaborate with business owners to obtain requirements and assess needs for course development. Course development includes the design and development of materials delivered by an instructor as well as self-paced materials, which are developed with adult learning principals and meeting all applicable accessibility requirements.
The ID will continually maintain and make modifications to course materials to ensure ongoing effectiveness and that learning targets and skills are still valid. This individual will own and manage many course materials and manage projects associated to learning design as assigned.

The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so Required Qualifications: Content Developer with 2+ years experience with Articulate 4+ years of experience in a high volume, fast paced environment for problem-solving capacity 4+ years of professional instructional design and development experience in a corporate training setting 4+ years designing/developing instructor led and self-paced training materials 1+ years of experience with Articulate Experience working in a diverse team setting with a track record for success Experience collaboratively working to create content for high visibility, large project initiatives Deep knowledge of adult learning theory and how to apply in the design of learning experiences MS Office proficiency Proven excellent problem-solving abilities and aptitude to understand and document technical informationProven ability to work towards individual and team targets Demonstrated successful time management and organizational skills Solid written communication skillsAt UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
