McGraw-Hill Education, the leading provider of digital and print educational materials is looking for a creative, innovative, strategic Senior Instructional Designer, Math (K-12) for our Reveal programs. You will be a valuable member of a collaborative group of Instructional Designers, closely partnering with teams focused on content, product management, UX, and creative media. As part of this team, you will create robust digital tools, curriculum and learning solutions in a variety of formats that are used by millions of educators and students every day. The Senior Instructional Designer, Math is a digital savvy content and curriculum expert, responsible and accountable for assembling high-quality content based on specific product requirements for the Math programs. It will be filled as a Project Status Worker (PSW) designation. This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States. What you will be doing: Design and develop a variety of digital curriculum assets (e.g., videos, eBooks, interactives, simulations, games, and virtual labs) using a UBD (Understanding by Design) process, including storyboarding, content creation, and alpha/beta testing. Lead concept meetings, provide feedback on manuscripts, and actively contribute to product builds and user testing in collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring product requirements and goals are met on time. Manage accessibility and quality implementation throughout the product development process, including vendor relations, scheduling, and leading weekly status meetings. Ensure digital content adheres to guidelines and troubleshoot technical issues. Provide product training to team members, foster collaboration across teams, and share expertise to continuously improve processes and outcomes. Maintain flexibility and adapt to changing responsibilities and environments, while driving innovation to create differentiated solutions that add measurable value to the product and its users. What you need to be considered: Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Instructional Technology, Instructional Design, Education, or related field required. 4 - 5 years experience working in digital content development that includes teaching and learning materials. Experience with authoring tools, learning management systems, and content management systems. Ability to create and visualize animated and interactive content. Previous K-12 teaching experience in Math education, preferred. Experience in instructional design or educational technology for Math curriculum. The pay range for this position is between $55,000 - $74,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
