DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced, motivated and detail-oriented individual to join us in the role of Senior Instrument Manufacturing Technician. The ideal candidate is interested in working as part of a fast-paced, high-performing team and is committed to the highest level of work quality. This position will report directly to the Director, Instrument and Cartridge Manufacturing.



Responsibilities Hands-on assemble and test complex modules and bench top medical electromechanical instruments, producing quality products that consistently exceed customer and regulatory expectations. Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical assemblies, working independently and efficiently, maximizing quality product generation in a regulated environment. Provide feedback and advice on design changes for “Design for Manufacturing” (DFM). Produce compliant device history records in a regulated environment.  Track instrument performance data and provide written/verbal review of data to approval committee.  Observe and document all instrument failures as they occur. Complete instrument QA records in accordance with SOP’s and good documentation practices 

Skills and Experience High School degree required. AS in a related discipline preferred.  8+ years industry experience within the manufacturing or production environment, preferably in a small company/start-up setting. Excellent computer skills, with ability to learn and use various custom production software. Must have mechanical aptitude, and an understanding of motors and switches (Mechanical/Electrical assembly). Understanding of basic motion systems.  Experience in a regulated environment, GMP, ISO, FDA. A strong work ethic and commitment to generate high quality work under tight deadlines, collaborative approach, and proactive attitude a must. Self-starter and able to work in a fast-paced environment within a team. Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills (both verbal and written). Experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.). Self-starter and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must have strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
