About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Instrument Engineer to join our Engineering & Construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, timely, and cost-effective execution of projects while adhering to company standards, international specifications, and HSE regulations.
You will oversee engineering studies, manage contractor teams, and ensure seamless integration of instrumentation systems into existing offshore facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Compliance Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Ensure compliance with client standards, industry best practices, and safety procedures. Prevent damage to company assets and the environment during project execution. Provide timely responses to technical queries, ensuring adherence to engineering and safety standards. Oversee the production of high-quality engineering designs and technical studies by contractors. Engineering & Design Management Lead instrumentation engineering activities from pre-project studies to detailed and installation engineering phases. Supervise contractors' teams to ensure high-quality design engineering services. Define and implement technical solutions for offshore instrumentation challenges. Develop and review engineering deliverables, including technical reports, drawings, and specifications. Manage instrumentation material procurement and perform technical bid evaluations. Stakeholder & Contractor Coordination Interface with internal departments such as Production, Procurement, and Technical Safety. Ensure contractor compliance with safety regulations, taking corrective action when necessary. Lead technical reviews of bidder proposals and provide recommendations. Organize and oversee offshore instrumentation survey campaigns to ensure compliance with contracts. Conduct kick-off meetings (KOM), job safety analysis (JSA), and work permit meetings with field operations teams. Technical Oversight & Troubleshooting Review and approve engineering deliverables for basic and detailed designs. Oversee vendor deliverables and participate in factory acceptance tests (FAT). Troubleshoot and provide technical expertise on existing instrumentation systems. Ensure the seamless integration of new instrumentation equipment into existing offshore facilities.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
  Education: B.Sc. in Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent. Experience: Minimum 12+ years of experience in instrumentation engineering within the oil & gas industry. At least 5+ years of recent experience in offshore instrumentation design and engineering. Skills & Competencies: Strong leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Proficiency in technical documentation, engineering drawings, and instrumentation design tools. Fluent in English (verbal and written).
