We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Insurance Technology Manager to lead our technical and strategic initiatives in the field of Property & Casualty (P&C) and health insurance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software architecture, project management, and team leadership, with a proven track record in managing large-scale transformation programs. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent technical and managerial skills to drive the successful delivery of complex insurance solutions.
You Will
Technical Leadership:
Oversee the design and implementation of software solutions for P&C and health insurance sectors. Lead the development of technical architectures, including MVC, SOA, Microservices, and Event Sourcing (DDD & CQRS). Ensure the integration and migration of insurance portfolios and systems, focusing on profitability and efficiency.
Project Management:
Manage large-scale transformation programs, ensuring delivery within deadlines and budget constraints. Develop detailed project plans, allocate resources, and monitor progress to achieve project goals. Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of developers, analysts, and testers. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment. Conduct regular team meetings to track progress, address issues, and provide guidance.
Stakeholder Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including business leaders, clients, and vendors. Communicate project status, milestones, and deliverables to stakeholders. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals.
Business Development:
Participate in the sales process, developing new accounts and expanding existing ones. Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities and develop strategic partnerships. Provide pre-sales support, solution planning, and product management expertise.
Quality Assurance:
Implement and enforce best practices for project management and software development. Conduct regular quality reviews and ensure adherence to standards and procedures. Facilitate testing and validation processes to ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
Your Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Proven experience (10+ years) in IT project management, software architecture, and team leadership within the insurance industry. Strong understanding of insurance business processes and technical solutions. Proficiency in programming languages (C#, VB .NET, Java, JavaScript, Python, etc.) and software technologies (SQL Server, Oracle, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.). Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively. Fluency in Spanish, English.
