Careers That Change Lives Plan, implement, execute, and evaluate integrated marketing communications campaigns and product launches for Cardiac Ablation Solutions professionals and patients around the world. Use your strategic skills to develop and execute campaigns that include all elements of the integrated marketing communications mix - i.e., messaging and positioning, creative concepting, digital media content delivered via websites, social media channels, video, animations, mobile apps and email, print and electronic promotions, journal and on-line advertising, conventions related tactics, patient education materials, and more. Responsibilities + Integrated marketing and communication planning through execution forportfolio responsibilities + For assigned product areas, serve as MarCom point in the development, creative direction, and on-time, on-brand execution of the following: + Marketing Communications strategies and tactics in support of new products launches and continuation campaigns + Conference and event strategy planning, promotion and associated deliverables; videos, social media, graphics and digital presence + Lead digital strategy, execution and launch (web redesign and updates, Organic and Paid Social campaigns, and Paid Search), including patient education/stories and external marketing communicationspromoting brand and product + Copywriting and editing of product-related content in accordance with current, approved product claims and style guidelines + Compliance with document control and change management processes + Compliance with corporate brand guidelines + Understanding of and compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines + Management and maintenance of creative assets and source files + Marketing communication budget level initiatives + Liaison with Corporate Brand marketing + Collaborate withProduct Managers for content for product marketing collaterals and each of the congresses sponsored events for example: Videos, Posters, Spec Sheets, Videos, Brochures, One Pagers, Presentations, Case Studies, Patient Stories, Direct Mail, Email Blasts + Lead Clinical Trial & Evidence dissemination external communication campaign strategy and execution on assigned product areas + Partner with key stakeholders—as well as cross-functional teams and agency partners--to develop and execute integrated/multi-channel marketing communications plans that support growth objectives, engage target audiences, and drive sales. + Vendor management, including creation of briefing documents, procurement of statements of work, budget management, and invoice processing + Develop KPIs and strategies for tracking and measuring program impact on regional and global commercial performance. + Leverages insights to strengthen programs and build new strategies. A Day in the Life Integrated Marketing Communications Strategic Planning: Develop strategic integrated marketing communications plans for CAS products and indications. The plans will effectively articulate the communications objectives, strategies, tactics, budget, and resources needed to support the marketing objectives as set forth in marketing plans. Determine which communications channels and tactics most effectively reach our target audiences. Manage and maintain a master calendar of strategic tactics for the business. Percent of time: 30% Content Development - Writing, Editing and Creative Collaboration: Understand and apply the elements of writing excellence. Write content that translate features into benefits and/or translate complex concepts into understandable language across various traditional and digital communications channels, utilizing Medtronic Corporate Verbal Brand Standards. Conduct appropriate research to test message and/or communications content. Collaborate with and provide direction to internal and external design and creative resources to develop visual concepts. Percent of time: 20% Project Management: Lead the implementation and completion of communications tactics, as outlined in the integrated communications plan. Collaborate with and provide direction to internal and external resources to execute multiple tactics. Manage the internal Legal, Regulatory, and Marketing review process for assigned projects. Proactively and regularly report project status to your manager, team members and marketing partners. Measure the effectiveness of tactics. Percent of time: 35% Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, productive working relationships with Marketing and Communications department personnel, as well as legal and regulatory partners. Percent of time: 10% Budget Management: Manage resources efficiently and effectively (project dollars and people). Track actual spending to estimates, and report status of programs/projects. Percent of time: 5% Must Have: Minimum Requirement **s** You will need a Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of Marketing or Communications experience (corporate or agency) to be considered. + Proficient ability to work in core business software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and Outlook + Proven planning and project management skills + Ability to plan and manage projects efficiently and effectively + Proven ability to work as a liaison between Marketing and Creative staff + Strong written and oral communication skills + Business writing and editing experience + Strong knowledge and understanding of marketing with an ability to translate marketing goals into effective communications plans + Experience with all aspects of communications, media, copyright, and electronic mediums. + Experience managing client/customer relationships.
