The Senior Integration Engineer will be responsible for driving the design, development, and implementation of robust and scalable integration solutions that align with industry best practices and standards. As a key member of our Data Engineering and Integration Platforms team, you will lead specific areas of integration work, building and maintaining our integration capabilities to support critical business processes.

Your responsibilities:Platform Security & Performance: Ensure a secure, scalable, and high-performing integration platform by monitoring key metrics and optimizing performance, security, and data integrity.Technical Debt Management: Minimize technical debt through code reviews, standardization, and best practices to maintain quality and seamless data exchange.Component Reusability: Identify and implement reusable integration components and patterns to enhance efficiency and scalability across projects.Team Development: Mentor and coach team members to excel in integration design, development, and support while fostering a culture of self-ownership and continuous improvement.Tech Stack Proficiency: Utilize integration services (e.g., Azure, SAP), Azure API Management, API documentation tools, DevOps practices, and security tools like Sonar Cloud and Qualys.Knowledge Sharing: Promote knowledge management and continuous learning within the platform team to drive innovation and team growth.Requirements for the role:Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience working as an engineer, with strong integration background and experience. Demonstrating taking a leading role in integration solution design and implementation.Technical Skills: In-depth understanding of Integration Services, (inc. Azure/ SAP), Azure API Management Services, API documentation tools, DevOps, and Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment.Matrix management structures and ways of working.Designing, building, and implementing Integration solutions, through engaging relevant business, engineering, and architecture teams to drive solutions.Creating, maintaining, and driving adoption of Integration best practices, guardrails, and standards, ensuring best practice maintained on the platform and technical debt minimised.Defining and managing analytics (inc. error reporting, dashboards, and automated threshold-based alerts) for internal/ external consumption and for developers maintaining the APIs, helping ensure the support model is effective as possible.How you will be rewarded:Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies.
