About the role:
Senior Intercompany Accountant is accountable for end-to-end intercompany accounting activities for assigned entities, including managing intercompany accounts payable and receivable, as well as monitoring and reconciling intercompany ledgers.
Key responsibilities:
+ Process transactions such as internal supplier and customer invoices and credit notes in SAP following accounting standards and group policies.
+ Prepare and book intercompany accruals in accordance with accounting standards and group policies.
+ Monitor, reconcile, and clear GRIR accounts.
+ Work closely with Intercompany vendors/customers in order to reconcile accounts solve discrepancies and disputes, and provide analysis of intercompany differences on both P&L and Balance Sheet accounts.
+ Perform month/quarter/year-end closing activities for accounting and ensure all deadlines are met.
+ Escalate risks and drive resolutions with the Team Lead / Manager.
+ Actively participate in projects, supporting management and the project team in various tasks.
+ Responsible for delivering targets.
+ Act as the first point of contact for resolving specific issues as the subject matter expert.
+ Perform ad hoc analysis on intercompany balances upon request.
+ Collaborate with other teams on continuous improvement activities and initiatives focusing on delivering efficiency, transparency and standardization.
About you:
+ Master's degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field
+ At least 1 year of professional background in a similar position - SSC/GBS/ BPO environments preferred
+ P2P, RTR, and OTC process knowledge will be an asset
+ Strong English skills (written and spoken)
+ Experience working with SAP
+ Knowledge of Google-based applications
+ Proficient in MS Office tools, with a focus on Excel
+ Strong analytical and multitasking skills
+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
+ Ability to work effectively in teams and meet deadlines.
