A multidisciplinary design firm in Chicago is looking to add a Senior Interior Designer to their team!
Job Description:
Responsible for participating in conceptual design up until construction documentation phasesWill work closely with the Principals and Owner of the firm to deliver design ideasResponsible for executing design projects, managing client expectations, overseeing project budgets, reviewing work from internal team members, and leading design presentationsResponsible for space planning and FF&E selections Expected to have a thorough understanding of the studio's design process and able to train and encourage the development of other designersResponsible for managing a team of 2-3 designers per projects, however could vary depending on project needsResponsible for utilizing Adobe Suite, specifically InDesign and Photoshop for client presentationsResponsible for utilizing SketchUp and Enscape for reviewing 3D modelsQualifications:
Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture8+ years of professional experience in a design firm, focusing on custom hospitality projectsAt least 5 years of experience working on food/beverage/restaurant projectsThis is a creative focused role (concept - CD), however candidates should have experience supporting projects from concept - CAExperience managing a small team (2-3 people)Experience working directly with clients, leading client presentationsExperience working in InDesign, Photoshop, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, BluebeamPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $48.08
