Senior Interior Designer- Workplace & Commercial projects
About this role

This studio has a portfolio of local and international clients and projects in the Workplace and Commercial sector. Opportunity for a driven Senior Interior Designer with experience working in a fast pace D&C environment with career growth pathways.

Key Responsibilities

Lead creative project development, from pitching to execution, collaborating with design leadership. Manage design accuracy and alignment with client objectives throughout the process. Develop designs that reflect client needs and the unique characteristics of spaces. Maintain individual design integrity while staying current with industry trends. Coordinate design submissions and documentation, ensuring timely support from design leadership. Oversee and delegate tasks to interior designers and documenters to meet project milestones. Proactively manage design changes during construction to protect client and company interests. Collaborate with project managers to address design inconsistencies on-site. Utilise design software (Revit, Lumion, Adobe Creative Suite) for creating visuals and presentations. Build and maintain client relationships while presenting the studio's capabilities at networking events.

Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture Min 8+ years' post-grad experience All-rounder experience, passion for design and project delivery Experience in managing projects from inception to site Strong design, documentation and detailing abilities in Revit Excellent communication and presentation delivery skills Leadership capability Ability to manage time and prioritise effectively Attention to detail Positive, outgoing approach Ability to present and pitch designs
