What you’ll Do
As the Senior Internal Auditor you will be key part of the Internal Audit department in Asia Pacific. As the Senior Internal Audit Manager, you will lead this department with a reporting line to the Vice President and Chief Audit Executive.
As the Senior Internal Auditor you will lead all relevant audits, SOX compliance testing efforts for related areas, and other IT-related projects and initiatives, including IT Risk Assessment activities. The role will also plan, lead, execute, and report on operational internal audits and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) 404 compliance activities in accordance with established standards.
While primarily based in Australia, the appointed person will be required to complete audit projects remotely or in person in other locations within Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America.
Lead and execute complex IT audit engagements, including but not limited to the testing of application controls, system operations, IT infrastructure and IT security. Perform walkthroughs and testing procedures on SOX IT controls (ITGCs and application controls), document testing results, communicate findings to management, and confirm remediation/implementation of recommendations. Collaborate with management to resolve audit deficiencies and provide support in the improvement of control processes. Collaborate with external auditors to align testing results, remediation efforts and overall management of the audit program in the IT space. Deliver controls and process training to the organization to educate and advance internal control and governance proficiency of the business. Provide expert audit advice and support to leaders on risk management and effective control activities. Confirm a high level of quality with a focus on the efficiency and effectiveness of internal audit processes. Develop professional competencies and personal network to build a positive assurance culture across the organization. Other duties and special projects as requested.What Experience and Education You Need
Bachelor’s Degree required. In possession of professional designations/certifications, such as ISACA/ CPA / CIA / ACCA, etc., are preferred. Approximately 2+ years of relevant IT audit experience within a multinational, Big 4, or Tier 2 public accounting companies or 4+ years of relevant IT compliance experience. Sound understanding of Internal Audit standards and techniques, SOX knowledge, and understanding of US GAAP.What Could Set You Apart
Strong skills in Microsoft applications. Auditboard and Oracle experience preferred. Remain current and increase knowledge in the areas of auditing, relevant IT systems and applications, related technologies, and internal audit assessment methodologies and frameworks (COSO, IPPF, COBIT, NIST, ISO 27000-series) utilizing self-study and/or continuing education. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Flexibility to travel between 20%-30%, predominantly in Asia PacificPhysical Requirements
