Job Posting TitleSenior Internal Auditor - SOC1 - RemoteJob DescriptionThe Senior Internal Auditor conducts audit projects that provide independent, objective assurance over the organization’s operations. This position assesses compliance with internal policies and procedures, legal and regulatory obligations, and industry best practices; identifies opportunities to improve risk management and increase efficiencies; and reduces the potential for non-compliance, fraud, waste, and abuse.
Responsibilities
SOC1 Reporting: Successfully execute a variety of SOC1 engagements.SOC1 Methodology: Articulate the purpose and intent of SOC1 reports and understand their intended audience and requirements.Control Evaluation: Assess the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls related to claims and rebate processing designed to mitigate risk and support SOC1 objectives.Create Documentation: Independently author narrative, process flows, and testing workpapers to accurately reflect business processes and control points, ensuring workpapers are clear and accurate. Control Testing: Effectively facilitate evidence collection to execute on annual control testing requirements. Design control testing attributes and document results of control effectiveness testing.Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Interface with various departments, and external auditors, to execute on SOC1 control design and testing procedures. Facilitate communication with external auditors, acting as a liaison between auditors and the business.Continuous monitoring: Audit continuous monitoring designed to demonstrate control effectiveness using KPIs and KRIsMinimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience HS diploma or GED is required5 years of relevant experience which includes but is not limited to Internal Controls, Audit, Risk Assessments or Compliance Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorshipAdditional Qualifications
Skilled in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)Strong verbal and written communication skillsAble to openly, positively and clearly communicate with a variety of personnelAbility to work independently (with only general direction) as well as collaboratively as part of a teamDemonstrated critical thinking and analysisStrong organizational skills and the ability to meet established deadlinesExperience in working and solving complex business problems using a variety data analysis techniques.Preferred Qualifications

Reports to Manger in the Internal Audit departmentPotential pay for this position ranges from $74,500.00 - $111,700.00 based on experience and skills.
