Role description:
The Senior Marketing & Communications Specialist will be responsible for managing and executing key marketing and communications initiatives that align with regional and global strategies. This role will involve overseeing the coordination for campaign processes, projects and tasks, all the while ensuring high-quality output.
The Senior Specialist will also serve as point of contact for junior team members, assisting with task coordination and project implementation as well as performance evaluations. The role requires a blend of strategic oversight, hands-on project management, and leadership capabilities to drive the team’s success in delivering impactful marketing and communications solutions.

Marketing and Communications
Serve as the 2nd level POC for administrative, coordination, and implementation tasks assigned to the team Oversee the coordination and delivery of regional/global campaign processes, ensuring Agile methodologies are implemented effectively. Conduct regular QA/QC of tasks delivered by junior members and review work briefings for clarity and completeness. Negotiate workloads, deadlines, and manage stakeholder expectations. Assess the performance of junior team members, identifying opportunities for improvement and streamlining workflows. Lead the creation of training materials, comms strategies, and templates, and ensure the efficient delivery of digital tasks like EDMs, intranet updates, and SharePoint pages.Project Management and Communications
Facilitate collaboration with various teams to gather and share key organizational updates, ensuring Arcadians are consistently informed through well-crafted internal news, announcements (through SharePoint, email, and other channels), while also assisting in the development of professional presentations and documents to support executive-level communication initiatives. Collaborate to enhance Global Business Area (IC + External comms) and country Communications as required (eg, GBA Intranet page, event, case study, thought leadership campaigns). Efficiently assign communication tasks to relevant Centers of Excellence, oversee project management processes, and contribute valuable insights and expertise as a core team member.People Management & Administrative Support
Support the Sr.. Team lead with performance evaluations, PDR / GPS, rewards and recognition, and talent acquisition (as needed). Assist in onboarding and upskilling new team members, and junior team members while promoting Arcadis' People First culture. Conduct training within the team, fostering knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team. Suggest and implement strategies to improve workflow processes and overall efficiency. Provide administrative support, including workload allocation and providing reports as needed. Maintain up-to-date workload trackers, manage file backups, and support team engagement activities.Qualifications & Experience:
4 – 6 years of experience in marketing and communications Skilled in project and people management, marketing and communications processes, and improving work processes Professional, reliable, self-motivated, flexible, highly organized, personable, enthusiastic, punctual, and has a positive attitude to work Able to prioritize workload, work well under pressure, and deliver high-quality outputs within tight deadlines Excellent attention to detail and accuracy of work are essential A team player who can build strong working relationships with different stakeholders Knowledgeable in the following: Email marketing tools (Advanced) SharePoint (Advanced) Campaign planning Project management People managementWhy Arcadis?
