Senior International Tax Analyst

Location:

This is a Hybrid role based out of our Corporate Offices in Newport News, VA, in accordance with the Ferguson Flex schedule; 3 days office / 2 days remote.   For candidates outside of the Hampton Roads area, relocation assistance will be provided.


Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Director of Tax Reporting and Compliance, the Tax Senior- International Tax is responsible for the accurate and timely tax compliance and reporting of Ferguson’s International Operations.

Specific obligations include - BEAT, GILTI, Subpart F, Pillar 2, foreign tax credit and other international aspects of Ferguson’s tax reporting and compliance.

Lead the efforts of our co-sourcing partner with respect to international tax.

Play an integral role in US tax planning initiatives including transfer pricing, country by country reporting, and foreign tax credit.

Lead aspects of US tax audits and support global tax audit activity.

Ensuring that reporting and compliance impacts of planning initiatives are integrated into tax compliance and reporting.

Responsible for SOX requirements related to international tax.

Participate in special projects as required.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws affecting the company and update relevant stakeholders as appropriate.

Qualifications:

5+ years accounting firm and corporate tax experience. Multinational corporate experience a plus.

Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 740.

Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to interact as a proactive strategic business partner.

Team player with the ability to work with remote team members and support cross functional goals.

Strong business acumen and analytical skills.

Proficient with technology commonly employed by finance and tax departments.

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent work experience required.

Pay Range:

$5,550.30 - $10,450.00

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
