Senior Intraday and International Liquidity Analyst

Role/Department

The Senior Analyst will be responsible for helping drive the development of the enterprise risk monitoring and measurement of intraday activities across the organization. The successful candidate will be a member of the Intraday Liquidity and Collateral Analysis team and help coordinate across the global enterprise functions that are involved in the intraday activity process such as Credit, Cash Operations, IT, and Resolution Planning to further enhance the enterprise view on intraday activities and risk exposures.
 

The key roles & responsibilities will include;

Monthly

Manage the affiliate liquidity stress testing processes, including review of monthly runs, confirmation of results, presentation to local committees and filing to local regulatorsPrepare affiliates liquidity monitoring decks: Legal entity oversight meeting, London Executive Management Committee, Irish branch.Secretary to the Intraday Committee: prepare the schedule of meetings and document minutes.  Work with key stakeholders to bring relevant material to the committee.Oversee production of the monthly calculations for intraday Liquidity needs in stress

Annually

Contribute to the annual completion of the legal entity Individual Liquidity Adequacy Assessment (ILAAP)Coordinate annual recalibration of intraday liquidity limits and payment flow control limits and monitoring thresholds  

On-going

Coordinate the pledging programme for legal entities upstreamingCoordinate maintenance, review, approval and live runs of the international Contingency Funding PlansBe a point of contact for intraday risk reviews by Risk, Audit and Global Regulators

Skills/Experience

The successful candidate will benefit from having;

Strong working knowledge of intraday liquidity, financial market utilities and central security depositories. Strong collaboration skills as there is a dependency on working closely with Partners across Credit Risk, Operations, Cash and Liquidity Management Operations, Securities Settlement, Network Management and Finance IT. Comfortable working through problems and presenting solutions to senior management.  Strong problem solving skills and detail oriented.CHAPS experience is an advantageWorking knowledge of the intraday risk drivers, data, and capability requirements which are necessary to support a sound intraday liquidity risk framework.
