We are looking for our new Senior Inventory Planner, for our site in Aylesbury. **The position summary** **:** As a Senior Inventory planner, you will play a crucial role in optimizing inventory management processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain operations. You will be responsible for analysing, monitoring, and controlling inventory levels to meet the company's strategic goals and customer demand. The position requires a combination of analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. **In this role:** **What you will be doing:** + **Inventory Analysis:** + Conduct regular analysis of inventory levels, turnover, and trends to identify opportunities for improvement. + Ensuring inventory levels are correct and in line with Stratasys’s stocking policies with due consideration for health & safety requirements. + Generate and present regular reports on key performance indicators, including stock levels, turnover rates, and forecast accuracy. + Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis. + Identify and implement process improvements to enhance overall efficiency in inventory management. + Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to inventory management. + Conduct regular audits to maintain data accuracy and integrity within the inventory system. + Take the lead on materials and collaborate with all stakeholders including NPI when design changes are being introduced to ensure as far as possible a minimum obsolescence cost is achieved + Manage monthly Perpetual Inventory Counts (PIC), if any issues found, investigate and report back to management. + Working with design, production engineering, supply chain and management to maintain the ERP BOM’s + Manage stocks at third party logistic warehouses (3PL) + **Planning:** + Develop accurate demand forecasts to support inventory planning and procurement activities. + Implement strategies to minimize stockouts, overstock situations, and excess inventory. + Utilize statistical models and forecasting techniques to predict demand and optimize stocking levels. + Anticipate and mitigate potential inventory-related risks, such as supply chain disruptions, supplier issues, or changes in market demand. + Monthly loading and maintain forecasts in the ERP system. + Ensuring materials are available for manufacturing build plan. + Release of shop orders to manufacturing for KanBan system and main builds. + Work with production engineering on continuous improvement projects e.g. 5s, value stream mapping etc. + Prepare presentations to compare Forecast X Actuals, Stock Projections, Level of Inventory. etc… + **Collaboration:** + Work closely with suppliers, supply chain and logistics to establish effective communication channels and optimize lead times. + Collaborate with IT teams to leverage technology for automation and optimization of inventory control processes. + Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to understand market trends, promotions, and upcoming product launches. + Work closely with various departments, including logistics, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment of inventory strategies with overall business objectives. **Qualifications** **for this role:** + Export Control Compliant (ITAR) + Proven experience in inventory analysis, demand forecasting, and supply chain management. + Proficiency in using inventory management software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel or other analytical tools. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners. + Strategic thinking and the ability to contribute to the development and execution of overall business strategies. **What you will be part of:** + **Company Overview (** https://www.stratasys.com/en/about-us/history/ ) + **Our Culture and Values (** https://www.stratasys.com/en/about-us/culture/ + **Our Sustainability “3D Printing a Better Tomorrow” (** https://www.stratasys.com/en/about-us/sustainability/ + **Our Locations** Click here (https://www.stratasys.com/en/contact-us/office-locations/) + **Check out** **our** video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6wmDfmt2bNI) **!
