ResponsibilitiesWhat will I be Doing?
Responsible for assessing and initiating Site Onboarding into financial systems'Responsible for Payment processing which includes:Invoice Processing: Assessing validating of invoiceFee Validation: Will compare to Clinical Trail Agreement (CTA), validate against other systems, such as EDC, CTMS, or any other reporting methodQuality Control: Will complete QC activities per guidelinesPeer Review: QC of small sample size of Invoices to ensure QC is being conducted per processSite Escalation: Will escalate payment issues and will need to engage / support Payment Manager is assessing issues, collecting information and communication with sitePayment Specialist will be primary contact with site for payments and will be required to engage sites in a meaningful way (Follow-ups either email and/or phone, assess situation and help site resolve any issues as it relates to payments, etc.)
Soft-Skills
Payment Specialists should be able to communicate professionally with the site and Astellas personnel Should have ability to assess a situation and problem solve a solution (ex: Issues with an invoice, can communicate clearly with Site the issue and how it can be rectified)Good verbal and written communication QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
BS/BA degree or Associates degree with ≥2 years of experience in the health care field or direct clinical trial related experience Must have knowledge of clinical trial conduct General knowledge of drug development and ICH/GCP guidelines Requires proven project management skills Must have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, administrative skills and computer ability. Fluent in English Minimal (0-5%) travel required
