DESCRIPTION OF WORK The Senior Investment Accountant serves as a technical investment accounting specialist, subject matter expert and supervisor, who reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer. The position oversees the wholistic assessment of risk exposure within the SERS Office of Financial Management; documentation of the current internal control environment; review, updating of, and production of process documentation over the controls in place; and testing of controls of varying complexity to ensure they are operating effectively. Work Schedule and Additional Information: + Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work week. + A work schedule beginning and ending between 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, inclusive, with a half-hour or one-hour meal period will be considered, dependent on operational requirements. The requested schedule may not start later than 8:30 AM or end prior to 4:00 PM. + Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time with occasional onsite visits as needed.
