Senior IOCT Engineer - Line Operations
Role Introduction

Reports to: Inventory Manager – Line Operations

This role is part of our Engineering Department who are focused on reassurance, keeping our people and our customer’s safe, ensuring that in every aspect of our operation. we have industry leading performance and that our various fleet programmes are delivering to plan, budget and specification

In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and managing all spares requirements related to Aircraft On Ground (AOG) around the CX network as well as driving the quickest and most economical means of spares and logistics recovery in Hong Kong and outstations.

Key Responsibilities
Providing support to the IOC (AOG Desk) for sourcing and management of all engineering material requirements related to Aircraft On Ground (AOG) of all categories as single focal point.Proactively identifying and resolving problems related to spares and logistics, in collaboration with other Inventory Management functions and suppliers.Managing the sourcing and provisioning processes, within the established operating procedures, by selecting the optimum solution that will meet the AOG or critical spares requirements in a cost effective manner with minimum operational impact.Reviewing and challenging the validity of material shortage demands based on historical consumption and commercial acumen.Managing Robbery and MEL extension due nil spares and proactively communicating with CoE (Centre of Excellence) Planning, Duty Maintenance Control Planning, Maintenance Controller and Technical Services Team.Evaluating and liaising with the other airlines and suppliers on Parts Sales/ Loans and borrows management.Achieving the aircraft availability KPI target.Working shift duty is required.Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Engineer position.Requirements
Minimum 6 years' experience in aviation, supply chain or engineering industry.Degree in Engineering / Aerospace discipline or equivalent. Alternatively, other relevant qualifications, combined with practical experience in material or supply chain managemenProven experience in working with cross functional teams as a good team player.Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills with service providers and customers.Knowledge in organizational and financial awareness.Adaptable and responsive to change. Demonstrate ability to drive change and improvement.Strong business acumen. Ability to explore options on parts sourcing and AOG recovery independently.Fluent in spoken and written English
