Senior iOS Engineer

What you’ll do:

Craft high-quality iOS applications from concept to delivery Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of iOS applications with back-end systems and APIs Implement best practices in iOS architecture and design, ensuring maintainability, scalability and performance Write clean, efficient and well-documented code while adhering to established coding standards Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing with the team Continuously monitor app performance; identify bottlenecks; and optimize for speed, memory usage and battery life Stay current with the latest advancements in iOS development and contribute to the adoption of new tools and technologies

What you need:

Bachelor’s degree required At least five years of experience in iOS development required Proficiency in UIKit, SwiftUI, Core Data and other iOS frameworks required Working knowledge of Swift functional programming, such as Combine, required Deep understanding of software engineering best practices, including design patterns, architectural principles, security and software testing methodologies required Expertise in Git required Deep knowledge of the iOS tooling ecosystem for development, testing, debugging and performance benchmarking required Experience with CI/CD pipelines preferred Experience with web development preferred Experience with Android native or hybrid development a plus Knowledge of back-end API development a plus Availability to work on-site at Gallup’s Omaha office at least three days a week

Gallup offers a robust benefits package that includes medical, dental and vision insurance options; a fully vested 401(k) retirement and savings plan with company matching; and an employee stock ownership program. We also offer an estimated annual salary range of $120,000-$150,000 for this role. Salaries are based on a variety of factors, including an individual’s education, experience, skills and location.
