About the Role
We’re seeking an iOS Engineer with a proven track record in startups to join our team. This is a high-impact role where you’ll have ownership over the entire lifecycle of our iOS app, from architecture and design to development and delivery. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to bring features to life quickly and efficiently while maintaining a high-quality user experience.
ResponsibilitiesPrioritize speed and quality: Balance quick delivery with thoughtful engineering to meet tight deadlines while minimizing tech debt.Bootstrap the iOS development lifecycle: Design, build, test, and ship features rapidly in alignment with product priorities.Collaborate effectively: Work cross-functionally with product, design, and backend teams to transform requirements into functional, delightful mobile experiences.Optimize performance: Ensure the app runs smoothly across devices and addresses edge cases with precision.Stay ahead: Keep up with the latest in iOS development trends, tools, and best practices to bring innovative ideas to the table.What We're Looking ForStartup mindset: Comfortable with ambiguity, iterative development, and wearing multiple hats when needed.4+ years of iOS development experience in Swift, with a focus on building and shipping high-quality apps at startups or similar environments.Experience with CI/CD pipelines for iOS and familiarity with tools like Fastlane and CircleCIStrong understanding of RESTful and streaming APIs as well as handling asynchronous data flows.Familiarity with App Store submission processes and handling application lifecycles.
$177,500 - $215,000 a yearFactors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary range is reflective of a position based in New York City. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
