Senior IS Applications Analyst - Hybrid - Anaheim, CA

This is a hybrid role and it is highly preferred that a qualified candidate lives within 2 hours of Anaheim, CA.

Positions at this level demonstrate full use and application of standard principles, theories, and concepts related to technical discipline and provide solution to a variety of moderately complex problems.  Manage more complex projects, establish and implement new or revised system requirements or procedures.  Analyze user requirements, develop and implement systems for moderately complex processes.  Lead activities of project team, mentor and assists others in support of applications, projects and goals.  Initiate, coordinate or lead course correction to stay on schedule while providing professional support for a large multi-facility healthcare organization.

Required qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services. Or equivalent educ/experience. 7 years Experience in technical, analyst or project management role, or extensive technical knowledge and experience in a suite of healthcare software such as HealthShare, or equivalent Health Information Exchange or Healthcare Integration

Preferred qualifications:

upon hire: Proficiency in InterSystems software applications and technology infrastructure. Understanding of basic networking principles including VPN, Firewall, HTTPS, SFTP Understanding of healthcare interface file formats including HL7 and CCDA Strong Project Management skills; ability to manage multiple competing projects Strong interpersonal skills to work with external entities like medical provider offices and EMR vendors
