Purpose of Role

As a SnapLogic Developer you are responsible for developing and maintaining the integration applications, APIs and platform features that meet business requirements and align to Aurecon Enterprise Integration Principles and best practices.

You will be working closely with the Integration squad, enterprise application squads, Solution Architects, Business Partners, and Shared Services support teams in delivering reusable integration applications or APIs that enable the IT Vision, Strategy & Priorities.

Having an extensive understanding of the integrated platform and the business processes it enables.Being responsible for the technical design, development and implementation of reusable integration solutions through pipeline builds, scripting, data transformations and enrichments.Contribute to the improvements and adherence of the development frameworks of the platform.Ensuring the integration applications, APIs or platform features align with business needs, Aurecon’s enterprise integration standards and best practices.Support of applications and APIs in accordance with Operating Model guidelines and best practices.Eliciting integration requirements and providing technical approaches or solutions, maximising the utilisation and platform functionality of SnapLogicEnsuring development hygiene including code management, and deployment through automation or CI/CD methods.Ensuring effective solution documentation and knowledge transfer.Ensuring that individual and team KPIs and SLAs are achieved.Anticipating hurdles and have contingency plans to circumvent them.

Technology Leadership

Contributing to the skills uplift across the product squad through knowledge sharing and coaching.Contributing to the continuous improvement and maturity of delivery and support processes.Taking ownership to evaluate technical requirements and advise on solutions and alternatives to meet business needs.Proactive in the establishment of the SnapLogic platform on the integration landscape of Aurecon by showcasing its technical benefits and capabilities.Contributing to ensure that the product is properly managed and fit for purpose.Exhibiting the depth and breadth of product knowledge through the impact of the solutions you deploy.

Stakeholder Management

Engaging with the business and IT stakeholders to address complex business problems through application solutions.Ensuring clear and effective communication of technical solutions to both technical and nontechnical audience.

Essential skills and experience

Extensive hands-on experience implementing integrations using SnapLogic or similar tools is required.Strong technology leadership to positively influence outcomes.Strong work ethics with high sense of integrity and accountability over the work of the team.Strong systems thinking with an analytical, creative and systematic approach to problem-solving.Strong attention to detail and a keen desire to deliver the highest quality solutions.Excellent ability to create high quality functional/technical documentation and technical requirements gathering skills.Excellent Communication Skills to technical and non-technical audience.Excellent Stakeholder Management skills and has worked with a diverse set of stakeholders.Maintains an awareness of developing technologies and their application.Takes responsibility for personal development.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any related discipline.5+ years of relevant experience in developing and supporting system integrations on enterprise middleware or integration platforms like SnapLogic, Dell Boomi, Webmethods etc.Certification in Snaplogic desirable.Strong experience in Agile methodology and Scrum.Strong experience in application development and support in a Global Shared Services set up.
