What will you do?

The Senior IT Applications Specialist role works in close alignment with the team leader on service management and other technical support activities of various applications to ensure they are made available. This role will be working hand-in-hand with other specialist within the team to come up with better resolutions to application issues that may arise

Here are the key things you will do to:

Senior resource of the teamCollaborate with application specialists in the team and deliver incident resolutions as needed.Perform complex analysis on tasks and provide advice to the team.Help train new employees and monitor team performanceDesign and develop automation of redundant processes across applicationsAssist in task triaging exercisesAll employees are expected to embrace Aurecon’s safety culture, understand and role model adherence to their obligations and actively participate in implementing safe systems of work.

What can you bring to the team?

Firstly, strong sense of responsibility, flexibility and adaptability to varying request. You will also need the following:

Related Bachelor’s degree or similar qualification5 years full time service management experienceExperience with Microsoft 356 suite of application configuration and administrationExperience in DevOps methodologyExperience with advance Microsoft desktop and web app developmentExperience working with Microsoft Azure Application Services (API, Jobs, Functions, Storage and Networks) would be an advantage.Experience working with legacy RIA frameworksProduction experience with MSSQLExperience working with non-relational databases would be an advantageExperience working within an Agile environment; any SCRUM experience would be a distinct advantageExperience with SharePoint is preferredExperience in working with Power Platform is an advantageExperience in developing quality software using techniques like unit and integration testing, enforcement of coding standards and peer code reviews
