Senior IT Asset Management Analyst (Remote)
Overview This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States. This position performs advanced data analysis in support of IT hardware, software, and business applications which have reached end of life (EOL). Evaluates data to identify and address common trends. Establishes process to gather remediation plans from IT hardware, software, and business application owners. Educates and fosters relationships with remediation owners. Mentors junior resources within ITAM EOL and Oversight team. Contributes to routine reporting, including metrics and supporting narratives. Supports development and testing of EOL process enhancements. Establishes and maintains supporting EOL procedures and job aids. May assist with special projects as needed. Responsibilities Remediation Plans Gathering: Collects remediation plans from owners of IT hardware, software, or business applications which have reached EOL. Documents details in central repository. Data Analysis: Analyzes EOL data for accuracy and efficiencies, effectively communicates analysis output. Reporting: Contributes to IT hardware, software, and business application EOL reporting based on data analysis, industry trends, and process capabilities. Conveys patterns, problems, and areas of improvement. Communication and Documentation: Prepares and/or assists with documentation, including routine metrics and supporting narratives. Establishes and maintains supporting EOL procedures and job aids. Leadership: Leads by example, a forward thinker, and a lifelong student. Mentor junior resources within ITAM EOL and Oversight team, remediation owners, and/or other stakeholders, as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Analytics, Modeling or Reporting OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Analytics, Modeling or Reporting Desired skills: IT Asset Management experience, including knowledge of ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management, Software Asset Management, and/or Configuration Management modules. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Includes ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Experience with Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical skills. Includes a keen attention to detail, ability to identify and interpret data trends, and ability to identify and drive continuous improvements. Ability to mentor junior resources. Experience working in an agile environment. Experience with Jira is a plus. Ability to take initiative and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proven organizational and time-management skills, including the prioritization of multiple tasks. Familiarity of FFIEC and ITAM frameworks such as ITIL, NIST, and COBIT a plus. Job postings may come down early due to business need or a high volume of applicants. If hired in North Carolina, the base pay for this position is generally between $87,000 and $133,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
